Alamo City Dance Company's The Nutcracker September 12, 2009 This audition is open to all dancers city wide! 1:00-2:30 ages 7-12 (This group will be done at 3:00 unless the directors ask you to stay longer. 2:30-4:00 ages 13-Professional (This group will be done at 4:00) General Information * Arrive 30 minutes early to sign in. * Be prepared to dance in ballet attire with hair up. Bring pointe shoes. * Most children's parts ages 7-12 will rehearse on Friday evenings. * Age 13 and older dancers generally rehearse on Saturdays. All cast performers are required to attend orientation Sept. 19, 2:00-3:00pm (One parent must attend with minor dancer) *Rehearsal for most performers begins in October. *Performances are Dec. Mandatory Nutcracker Orientation Presented by the Alamo City Performing Arts Association, Inc. September 19, 2009 2:00-3:00 pm General Information |
Orientation is mandatory for all cast performers and a parent is required to attend, if performer is under 18.
Check cast list to see if you have been cast.
Arrive 30 minutes early to sign-in for orientation.
Most children's parts ages 7-12 will rehearse on Friday evenings.
Age 13 and older dancers generally rehearse on Saturdays.
Rehearsal for most performers begins in October.
Performances are Dec. TBD
One parent must accompany any dancer under age 18 to orientation / performances.
Each cast performer is required to pay $40.00 to be in The Nutcracker. (This cleans costumes, alters
costumes as needed and helps Alamo City Dance Company with mounting costs of such a large scale
production.)
Alamo City Performing Arts Association, Inc. members can buy tickets to Nutcracker performances
immediately following orientation.
