The Nutcracker September 10, 2011 This audition is open to all dancers city wide! Registration begins 30 minutes prior to audition 1:00 - 2:30 pm for ages 7 - 12 (This group will be done at 3:00 pm unless the directors ask you to stay longer.) 2:30 - 4:00 pm for ages 13 - Professional (This group will be done at 4:00 pm) General Information * Be prepared to dance in ballet attire with hair up. Bring pointe shoes, if on pointe. * Most children's parts ages 7 - 12 will rehearse on Friday evenings. * Dancers ages 13 and older generally rehearse on Saturdays. There are no Sunday rehearsals. * Dancers cast must have a minimum of two years training en pointe to perform on stage en pointe. * Rehearsal for most performers begins in October. * Dancers and performers must be available to attend a technical rehearsal on Saturday, December 10th and dress rehearsals on Thursday, December 15th & Friday, December 16th. *All dancers and performers must make the commitment to rehearsals and all performances which are Saturday December 17th at 3:00 and 7:30 pm & Sunday, December 18th at 3:00 pm |

A parent MUST attend, if performer is under 18. * Cast list will be posted at SASPA at least one day prior to Orientation. *Each cast member will be required to pay a $50.00 performance fee during the orientation. (The fee is used toward the costs of altering and cleaning costumes and eliminates fund raising activities for performers and their families while helping the Alamo City Dance Company with the cost of mounting such a large scale production.) * Rehearsal for most performers begins in October. Check the Alamo City Dance Company website for the rehearsal schedule. Most children's parts ages 7 - 12 rehearse on Friday evenings. Age 13 and older dancers typically rehearse on Saturdays. * Performers must be available to attend Technical Rehearsal on Saturday, December 10th and Dress Rehearsals in the evenings on Thursday, December 15th Friday, December 16th *Performances are Saturday December 17th at 3:00 pm and 7:30 pm & Sunday December 18th at 3:00 pm * Alamo City Performing Arts Association, Inc.
