California Ballet School, later becoming a company member of the California Ballet
Company dancing in many classics. He also trained at United States International
University where he received a BFA in musical theatre and directing. Mr. Conway was
trained by Madame Margarite Ellicott, Maxine Mahon, Charles Bennett, John Hart OBE,
Ann Howard, Erling Sunde, Elizabeth Sutorius, Roland Dupree, Joe Tremaine, George
Koller and Steve Condos. Mr. Conway has been fortunate to have performed with
Edward Villella, Patricia McBride, Carol Lawrence, Kay Ballard, Dawn Wells and the
New York City Rockettes in addition to performing in many musicals across the
country and several tours around the globe. After choreographing shows at Walt
Disney World, Mr Conway moved to San Antonio to open Sea World of Texas and later
open Fiesta Texas as part of the original creative staff winning most popular theme
park show in America as the original choreographer for Rockin' At Rockville High.
Mr. Conway has judged for almost every national dance competition in the United
States. He has choreographed for many companies in the U.S., taught master classes in
the orient, South America and Mexico. He has been school director for the San Antonio
School for the Performing Arts for the past nineteen years.
