SASPA Registration Information
|
Registration is easy. School curriculum includes classes for pre-school through
professional. After an initial placement class is set up by the school directors, class
recommendations will be made prior to registration for continued growth and
challenge. Dress code, attendance and other school policies will be reviewed with
each student at the same time.
Missed Lessons are not the responsibility of SASPA. No tuition will be prorated for
missed lessons. Make-ups may be done within one month of the missed lesson in an
equal or lower level class.
Tuition is figured on an hourly basis when the $20.00 registration fee is paid which
entitles the student to the discounted sliding scale of rates. Tuition will vary based
on the actual number of class hours in each month. Students not registered pay
$15.00 per class drop in fee. Either payment plan must be paid monthly or quarterly
in advance. A monthly statement, mailed directly to the home, reflects the number
of classes in which a student is enrolled in per month. Tuition is due on the first day
of the month. Payments made after the fifth of the month are late and will be
assessed an additional $20.00. Tuition can be paid by cash, check, Visa, Master
card or on an automatic deduction method if preferred. Family rates are available to
subsequent registered family members. The unlimited number of classes rate per
month is $230.00. All tuition and tuition deposits are Non-refundable.
A Placement Class evaluates the student's current accomplishment in dance. No
two schools have the same class labels making it necessary to evaluate all new
students. ALL PLACEMENT IS FINAL, however, each student is evaluated
continuously for growth and development.
A Change in Registration must be done in writing to the school office before the
next billing cycle. Students who drop classes will be charged a re-enrollment fee.
SASPA is under no obligation to provide instruction for missed classes unless said
classes are canceled by the school. In order to take a make-up class students must
acquire a card from the school office and present the card to the make-up teacher.
Observation weeks are held in November and March of each year but are not
mandatory for parents to attend.
