Registration Information
Registration is easy.   School curriculum includes classes for pre-school class
etiquette,  dress code, attendance and other school policies will be reviewed with
each student.  Students who drop classes will be charged a re-enrollment fee.
SASPA is under no obligation to provide make-ups for classes missed unless
canceled by the school.
Missed Lessons are not the responsibility of SASPA. No tuition will be pro-rated for missed lessons.
Make-ups may be done within one month of the missed lesson in an equal or lower level class.  In order to take
a make-up class students must acquire a card from the school office and present the card to the make-up teacher.
Tuition is figured on an hourly basis when the $40.00 registration fee is paid
which entitles the student to the discounted sliding scale of rates.   Return students
only pay
$15.00 to register.  Tuition will vary based on the actual number of class
hours in each month.  Students not registered pay
$25.00 per class drop in fee.
Card, American Express or Discover.  Tuition must be made before the first of the
month and are late after the 5th of the month.   Family rates are available to
subsequent registered family members.  The unlimited number of classes rate per
month is
$260.00.  There is a $25.00 fee on all returned checks.  There is no refund
of tuition or registration fees.
A Placement Class evaluates the student's current accomplishment in
dance.  No two schools have the same class labels making it necessary to evaluate all
new students.
ALL PLACEMENT IS FINAL, however, each student is evaluated
continuously for growth and development.
A Change in instruction must be done in writing to the school office before the next billing cycle.
Observation weeks are held in November and March of each year but are not mandatory for parents
to attend.  This is when we invite parents, family and friends into the classroom to share the students
accomplishments and training procedures.
Holidays Observed are January 1st, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  We do not
bill student for observed holidays.
Private Lessons / Choreography are available.  Fees for these sessions have to be paid in
advance.  If a student cancels a session, without notification of 24 hours prior, the fee for the session is still due.
Promotion is only considered when a student meets the placement criteria,
attendance and work ethic/attitude are met.  However this is not a guarantee of
promotion.  Any questions regarding promotion please see the school directors before
the fact, not after.  There is an annual meeting in April, open to all parents,  educating
parents and students on the points of placement and continued growth within the
school.
School Etiquette requires every student to behave throughout the facility.  Parents and students must
not ask teachers questions when a teacher is required to teach a class.  Placement, casting, billing, recital and
general school policies are to be directed to the school directors.    Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late
will need to do a make up class. This is for the safety of the student.  It is recommended that no money, jewelry
are brought to the school and that cover-ups are worn to and from the school.  To facilitate the location and
ownership of lost items we recommend students names are written in dance attire and all shoes.  NO chewing
gum, smoking or alcoholic beverages are allowed.  SASPA reserves the right to suspend or dismiss any student
whose attitude, attendance or conduct is found unsatisfactory or unprofessional.
Continuing Student Rate applies to students that take unlimited
classes,  continued their dance studies and registered for a minimum of four weeks
during the previous summer session and registered early prior to May 31st.
